On the outside, you’re a high performer.

On the inside, you’re battling self-doubt, second-guessing yourself, over-preparing or people pleasing.

Who is this programme for?

It’s particularly useful for you if you:

  • Worry that you’re going to be “found out” despite a strong track record.
  • Believe that you’ve arrived at your position though luck, timing, the fact that someone made a mistake or liked you.
  • Confuse “I don’t know everything” with “I shouldn’t be here.”

If 2026 is the year you want to develop your confidence (especially at work), then this is for you!

When is it and what’s involved?

These are bite-sized, virtual workshops – held on zoom.

So that we can talk, share our ideas, reflections and progress, I have limited the number of people who can attend.  This is because whenever I run webinars on this topic, the constant theme in the feedback is that people would like time to discuss what I’m sharing.

This means they won’t be recorded.

Whether you’re feeling like an imposter, struggling with perfectionism or want to address your incessant people pleasing, this session will focus on setting stretch-but-safe goals.

Many of us with imposter-type thoughts are go-getters and goal-setters. However, it’s easy to set goals the wrong way which can lead to us feeling deflated, inadequate and talking to ourselves harshly.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Recognise 5 common mistakes when setting goals
  • Use the framework for setting stretch-but-safe goals
  • Discuss your experience and reflections with others (confidentially).

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Reflect on your progress and learnings over the past fortnight
  • Recognise what imposter “syndrome” is
  • Develop your awareness as to when and where it shows up

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Recognise how to respond in the midst of an attack
  • Develop strategies and skills to effectively relate to feelings of inadequacy
  • Develop strategies and skills to manage unhelpful thoughts so that you don’t get so consumed by them

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Recognise 4 key principles that develop your self respect, esteem and confidence over the long term
  • Handle setbacks, feedback and situations that don’t go your way
  • Develop healthy habits to strengthen your inner coach not your critic

How does it work?

Each session is £45.

You can share as much as you’d like to but certainly won’t be pressured in anyway.

And they build on each other – so it would be ideal if you can book all of them.

If 2026 is the year you want to develop your confidence (especially at work), then this is for you!

Who else has experienced these sessions?

“I wanted to contact you after attending your session on Monday. To say it has changed my life would not be much of an exaggeration. I have been struggling with some personal issues for some time, and since listening your session I have felt so much lighter.” Chief Compliance & Risk Officer, Major Insurer

“It might sound as if I’m exaggerating (I promise I’m not) when I say that your webinar has had a profound impact on my communication mindset. This in turn will help to change the lives of not only clients but young people I work with.” Susan, Underwriter

“Melissa has been a fantastic partner to our organisation. Through her one-to-one coaching and webinar-based “lunch and learn” sessions on topics such as Imposter Syndrome, Giving and Receiving Feedback, and negotiation skills, she’s had a tangible impact on both confidence and capability across our teams.

Feedback from employees is consistently positive, with many commenting on how practical, engaging and relevant her sessions are. People leave with tools they can use immediately, not just in theory.

We highly value our relationship with Melissa and Motem and would not hesitate to recommend her to any organisation looking to develop their people in a meaningful way.” Jenny Ellis, Learning and Development Manager – UK & Europe, Tokio Marine HCC
